Elizabeth Ho OAM

Elizabeth Ho OAM has held a number of senior positions in the public and higher education sectors. As an Associate Director of the State Library of SA and later, as the inaugural Director of the award–winning Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre at UniSA (1999-2014) she built deep community connections through alliances with private, community and government organisations and made numerous international linkages to benefit the State. Elizabeth has served on a number of government and NFP Boards and is a private company director. She is currently Chair of the History Trust of SA – a State government agency – and of the Migration Museum Foundation. She is Deputy Chair of the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) and on the Board of the Adelaide Holocaust Museum (AHMSEC) . Elizabeth is listed on the SA Women’s Honour Roll and in 2012 received the Medal of the Order of Australia for her services to education and women. She was appointed a Fellow of the University of SA in 2014 and a National Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia in 2009. She has co- authored with celebrated chef Cheong Liew OAM on Asian- Australian fusion cuisine.
