Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President of the Division of Education Arts and Social Sciences at the University of South Australia, Professor Pal Ahluwalia is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and UNESCO Chair in Transnational Diasporas and Reconciliation Studies. He sits on the Board for the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia, Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Helpmann Academy for the Visual& Performing Arts. Author of many books and articles, he is the co-editor of three Routledge journals: ‘Social Identities’, ‘African Identities’ and ‘Sikh Formations’.
