Filmmaker, Writer, Broadcaster – Phillip Adams has two Orders of Australia, was named Australian Humanist and Republican of the Year, received the Longford Award, was appointed Senior ANZAC Fellow, received the Henry Lawson Arts Award, is one of Australia’s 100 Living National Treasures, has four Honorary Doctorates, and has interviewed thousands of the world’s most influential politicians, historians, archaeologists, novelists, theologians, economists, philosophers and conversationalists. He is a driving force of Australian film, radio, television and the arts, the National Australia Day Council, Commission for the Future, Centre for the Mind, the Families in Distress Foundation and various Boards including the Festival of Ideas in Adelaide and Brisbane.
