Professor and Director of the Key Centre for Ethics, Law, Justice & Governance at Griffith University and former Director of the Leonardo da Vinci Laboratory for Complexity and Systems Thinking at Lund University, Sweden, Sidney Dekker PhD has also lived and worked in the Netherlands, New Zealand, the US, the UK and Singapore. Recently active as a part-time airline pilot, he is also a prolific author. One of his latest books is titled ‘Drift into Failure: From Hunting Broken Components to Understanding Complex Systems’.
