Is it possible to position Australia to ensure that a low carbon future can also be a healthy future? Could an environmentally sustainable food supply include meat and fish? Obesity and related problems such as diabetes are rapidly reaching epidemic proportions in both economically developed and developing countries. Why is it that these conditions affect the poor disproportionately in affluent societies such as Australia? And how could that be turned around?
