Family by family

Date: 4:00 pm | Sunday 9 October 2011

Venue: Adelaide Town Hall

Two years ago, child protection manager Carolyn Curtis wouldn’t have believed it’s possible to run a family support program that people join voluntarily. Her clients entered “the system” without choice.

Today, families across Australia want to join Family by Family, a program developed by TACSl with over 100 families from Marion, South Australia. Family by Family links up families who’ve been through tough times, with families who’ve identified things they want to change. Through regular linkups, the families support each other to change and grow.

Carolyn and some of the families will explain the ‘radical redesign’ approach behind Family by Family, and the vision to take it Australia-wide.
